Monica gave a superb presentation (when we had eventually sorted the technical problems) of her work on tassels. It was very obvious that she had thoroughly researched the subject and was very passionate about this mainly long lost embellishment.
She uses traditional ideas with a twist, and loves experimenting with contemporary techniques and reclaimed materials- very on trend theses days and a great way to use up some of your long ago purchases.

Hopefully we will be able to arrange a day workshop for our members in 2023, where we can have a go at some more quirky tassels.
