Stumpwork Figures with Sandie Maher 26th March 2022

 We had a very relaxing friendly workshop with 11 students attending.

Sandie went through the processes step by step, and as you can see from the photos below we all worked at different paces.

Hopefully members will bring their finished or progressed pieces of work to the April meeting.

April 9th Meeting with David Winning 'Making Marks'

 David will talk a little about his work and how he starts each piece with mark making. He will bring some examples of his work.

The Prime objective is to have a go and David will demonstrate how he goes about this- then we play!!!

Requirement list for this is-

Cartridge Paper or similar

PVA Glue or similar

Paper Scissors

Selection of mark making tools- eg pens, pencils, crayons, felt tip pens, ink, paint, brushes and any domestic mark making tools eg twig, feather etc

Small tray to keep the messy things in as above to avoid spillage

Plastic to cover the table




The Colour raffle is purple. Please bring your donations-


Also remember to bring donations for the May General Raffle eg any colour fabric, thread, buttons, etc etc.



Mel won the March colour raffle and I was absolutely green with envy as the haul of green was beautiful as you can see. Well done Mel.
