Meeting October 14th -'Take Three Stitches'

 Amended meeting -

We will be doing a stitch session - please bring the following

Take 3 Stitches (based on a Jan Beaney/Jean Littlejohn class)

Requirements

• an embroidery hoop 
• plain fabic(s) any colour and type (cotton, felt, hessian etc) that will fit your hoop
• a range of threads and yarns in a range of colours you like (wools, silks, standed cottons, narow ribbons etc)
• a variety of needles including chenille needles if you have them
• scissors

We will play around with three different stitches to create different textures and effects. Diagrams of how to do the basic stitches will be provided and the rest is up to us and what we do with them.

 Colour Raffle-  please bring goodies in those colours 

Please remember to bring your donations of textile goodies eg fabric, threads etc for our bumper general raffle in December.
