8th October meeting 'Cover up & Shape Up' a mini workshop

 Well I hope you are in for loads of fun at our October meeting, we will be printing using gelli plates &  mono printing using stamps & stencils. 

You will be able to print your designs based on the theme 'Time & Tide' on paper and fabric. These can then be enhanced and completed at our next mini workshops in 2023. With the aim of producing items to be incorporated in an exhibition August 2023.

Requirements for 8th October 2022 Mini workshop

Refer to brainstorming list of ideas ‘Time & Tide’ theme, sent to you recently. 

This may determine your choice of colours  and stencils/stamps etc.

1.    Gelli Plate*

2.    Acrylic paint (3 colours of your choice) *

3.    Brayer/foam roller*

4.    A4 copy paper (a few sheets- say 6-8)

5.    Table cover/apron

6.    Stencils/masks & wooden or rubber stamps*

7.    Kitchen Towel/wet wipes

8.    Litter tray or similar which will hold water*

9.    Cotton fabric no more than A4 size *

10.   Newspaper

11.   Water Pot

*Items are optional, please do not go out and buy them, as between Tracey & me,

 we have a huge selection for you to use. The idea is to have fun and enjoy playing.


The Colour raffle is cream & white-


Please remember to bring your colour donations and any items for the big December general raffle (craft related items only ie books, threads, fabrics etc )


Goldwork workshop 24th September

 We had a brilliant day with Sarah from Golden Hinde, who as usual gave us great instruction on how to create a star or flower using various gold work techniques. She also brought her shop which was hard to resist.

Plenty of tea, coffee, cake & biscuits and good company- what more could a girl wish for??
