Parbold Village Festival 13th July 2024

We had a great time this year, as the weather was a bit kinder to us then in 2023. We shared the show tent with WI and U3A so the footfall was a lot better.

As you can see from the photos below - taken kindly by Derek  that we had a good laugh, spoke to some lovely people about the group and sold a few items.

'Time & Tide' exhibition 31st May to 16th June at Astley Hall Coach House, Chorley- Natural Progression Textile Group & Douglas Valley Creative Stitchers

The exhibition looks brilliant and we have had some really great feedback. One being this is art! a very rare comment that someone who is a painter recognises that textile pieces are in fact ART and not craft alone.

We have had quite a few visitors and the children have enjoyed the making table- cross stitch book marks, printed fabric and so on- in fact so did the adults!!

Below are some photos taken just after it was installed.
