11th Mar 2023- Mini Workshop ‘Shape Up’ Stencils – Tracey & Sue

Sept 10th Meeting- AGM and Show & Tell with Andrea Gaskell & Tracey Ramsay

We will be holding a short AGM in which we will be giving a Chair & financial report, along with election of Officers etc.




Following this Andrea and Tracey will be showing us aspects of their work and telling us about their techniques and inspiration.

Our colour raffle for September is Red and the theme is astronomy. Please remember to bring your donations for this.




We would also like you to start bringing in general craft items for our bumper raffle at the
 December meeting -please pass them to Donna.

          We hope you come along and support us, as it is important that you know what we have been                  doing and have a say in our future plans as a group.

We still have a few places on our next day workshop on 24th September 2022 10.00am to 4.00pm 'Stars & Flowers' goldwork with Sarah Rakestraw from Golden Hinde- suitable for beginners and the more experienced. 

£25.00 for DVCS members and £28.00 for visitors- there is also an optional project pack of wires and threads for £10.00.

'Stars & Flowers' day workshop Sat 24th Sept with Sarah Rakestraw from Golden Hinde

August 13th meeting -UFO's

 Hi despite the heatwave our August meeting was pretty well attended and those attending were extremely pleased to find the Air Con was on in the hall- Bliss!!! no one wanted to leave!

We all brought pieces of work to either finish or not! Tracey made the tea and brought cake and biscuits so what's not to like?

We presented Mary with a thank you card and gift voucher for her help & support over the years as a member and Group Secretary- she is taking a well earnt rest from being on the committee, but knowing Mary she will continue to be an active member of the group.

As you can see from the photos below what a lovely happy group of ladies we are-
