The meeting on 11th is primarily to enchance your previous pieces of printing which we made at the October mini workshop 'Cover Up'.
So please bring your printed papers & fabric from that previous session.
NB if you did not attend the Oct mini workshop- Tracey and I have plenty of spares & there will also be an opportunity to make a few printed papers & fabrics at the March meeting.
The requirement list has been emailed etc to members, but for those that have not yet received one the details are below- If you are already working on pieces for 'Time & Tide' please bring them along as Sue will be discussing finishing, presenting wall art (frame, canvas or soft hanging) & the requirements on fixing at Castle Park Art Gallery- Sue will also bring some samples of work from previous exhibitions to give you ideas on finishing.
The Colour Raffle will be Greens-
It would also be great if members/friends who attended Monica's Tassel workshop could bring them to the meeting, even if they are not fully finished.
Requirement
List for Shape-Up Mini Workshop 11th March
The aim is to enhance the printed fabric & papers by layering with
teabag papers using wax, modge podge etc. We will also be printing and
enhancing our chosen grounds, with the aim to make small items for the ‘Time
and Tide’ exhibitions. You could of course make larger wall art. We will be
bringing samples of work which will hopefully inspire you.

Printed Fabric & Papers already prepared at the October 2022 meeting.

Rubber/wooden Stamps that would fit the Theme ‘Time & Tide’
·
Ink pads for stamping in various colours
· Foam stamping mat or small towel to give you a soft cushion to stamp on which will give
a clearer stamp impression.
·
Apron
·
Plastic table covering & newspaper
·
Wet Wipes/ kitchen towel
·
Scissors
Tracey and Sue will also be bringing the above items plus.
So please do not go out and buy extra.
