Kantha with Inktense - a mini workshop 14th August with Margaret Wilkinson

 Our new group Douglas Valley Creative Stitchers is holding a mini workshop on zoom on 14th August. The fee is £4.00 and the meeting will start at 2.00pm for 2.30pm and finish at 4.00pm

Requirements for Hands-on ‘Kantha with Inktense’ with Margaret Wilkinson- 14^th August 2021

 

A5 Piece of white cotton

 

2 A5 pieces of muslin

 

Green, blue, brown inktense pencils these may be bought separately. However, it is worth thinking of investing in a small tin as they are very useful to the textile artist.

 

Small to medium soft paintbrush, jar of water.

 

Preferably Sashiko thread in blue, brown and green or embroidery thread.

 

A copy right free internet image of a winter tree (these are easy to come across or a sketch if you prefer)

 

If you have done kantha before and want to choose your own image please do but keep it simple and adjust your colours accordingly.
